Maker Faire Happy Valley brings makers from near and far to Bellefonte for a weekend of incredible creations, hands-on experiences, and things to see, try, and discover.

Watch live demonstrations and combat robotics, get hands-on with soldering, woodworking, wearable making, and more, and explore community builds, vendors, and other maker surprises throughout the weekend.

Combat Robotics Competition

Get ready for sparks and excitement at the MFHV 2026 Combat Robotics Competition, where DIY robot builders go head-to-head in thrilling, high-impact showdowns of engineering and creativity. Whether you’re a tech enthusiast or just love big, noisy fun, come watch these custom machines clash in an epic test of design, strategy, and pure mechanical mayhem! Don’t worry, our custom plexiglass fight arena keeps viewers safe from any flying plastic or mechanical pieces that might break off when these robots go at it. Grab a snack, pick a seat, and watch the bout starting at 12pm Saturday.

Axemann Brewery Behind the Scenes

Want to go behind the scenes of this unique creekside brewery? Meet Brewer Rod Stahl at the bar at 1:00 PM or 2:00 PM on Saturday for a special tour of the brewery. Pre-register to save your spot! Axemann Brewery is a production brewery and taproom located in a revitalized metal factory in Bellefonte, PA. Axemann’s vision is to brew and serve quality beers true to regional origins, and the 30-barrel production operation specializes in European and American East and West Coast styles. Local ciders, wines, and spirits are also available, along with local food vendors including an onsite kitchen and rotating food trucks.
